This year’s National Science, Technology and Innovation Exhibition at Kololo shined a bright light on 50 of the country’s finest innovators and amplified the government’s push for industrialization.

The World Science Day for Peace and Development is celebrated annually on November 10. It was initiated by the United Nations Education and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to recognize and promote Science and Technology in the advancement of societies since 1937. 

The Science Week was capped off on Wednesday, November 10, with President Yoweri Museveni presiding at the first Uganda Science Innovators Awards 2021.
